We catch up with Toronto based DJ and Producer, DJ Club Sandwich, aka Jack Bregman.

Tell us a little bit about this mix, any tracks or artists you want to give a shout-out to in particular? And was it made with anything in mind to do while listening to it (other than dancing ofc)?

The first 2 tracks are from my boy 2wo2imes down in Miami. I have an EP on Adhesive Sounds coming out with him. I mixed some artists that are on my new label Citra Lab Sounds & my own unreleased traxx duh. Shouting out Parallel Minds @24:00. I suggest you purchase their new record. It helped with my termite infestation problem.

As for the intention of the mix, I wanted to curate a profound journey that would cause an ephemeral transportation of oneself from their current reality into to a Hypnagogic state of pure awareness and thought in a blissful bleep of introspective reflection in the timeline of our universe, or as a tool to slam in your own sets. The pets love it as well.

Where did ‘Club Sandwich’ come from?

I was walking in Miami and I just thought of it. It means nothing.

You released your second EP, Conversations, last year on Glove Traxx - a 4 track EP of scintillating acid and murky undertones. Can we expect anymore releases soon?

Yea I got a new EP coming out with Toronto’s Philthraxx this month. Expect an amount of listenable audio containing drums, synthesizers, notes, fake 303’s, melodies, rhythms, beach sounds, and other varying musical components.

Who are some of your favorite music labels or artists that first inspired you to start producing?

None just wanted to impress this girl I fancied 😂. My friend Matthew had the software.

Are there any other projects you’re currently working on?

Nah I'm not working on any right now just have 3 or 4 12”s finished + a double LP and 7”. CLS & others 2020-2021.
